The average UK prize was £34.63.
This was the 83rd Super Draw and the jackpot pool was a guaranteed 130,000,000 Euros (£102,804,000.00).
At the time of the draw, tickets cost £1.50 each in the UK (2 Euros in non-UK countries) and one Euro was worth 79.08 pence. This therefore meant that 8.16 pence of every UK ticket sold was subtracted from the non-jackpot UK prize pool to compensate.
The pan-European total prize pool was 104,967,147 Euros (£83,008,019) and the pan-European ticket sales were 209,934,294 Euros (£166,016,039).
I bought only my fifth ticket for the game to date this week and it failed to match any of the seven numbers drawn.
