In a rare occurrence, I've actually bought one Euro Millions ticket for next Friday's draw. It's because not only is the main jackpot about £105m, but also the Millionaire Raffle will have a record 100 £1m prizes (the previous highest was 25). This means UK players could win up to £205m in prizes in total, which is indeed another record.
As ever, the larger the total money on offer, the exponentially more UK players buy a ticket (this is why large jackpots are often won by UK players, but smaller jackpots aren't). So it's very likely we'll get some UK winners of the £105m main jackpot too, so the total number of UK millionaires created on Friday could reach 102, 103 or even higher.

Bought two more tickets online for next Saturday's main Lotto single rollover draw.
