Wednesday 29th October
Bought three additional main Lotto tickets online for next Saturday's triple rollover draw.
Sunday 26th October
Bought two additional main Lotto tickets online for next Wednesday's double rollover draw.
Wednesday 22nd October
Bought an additional main Lotto ticket online for next Saturday's single rollover draw.
Tuesday 21st October
Bought a single Euro Millions ticket for Friday's draw, which will be the first one capped (at 190m Euros) for quite a long time. As you may have guessed, I only play the capped draws for this game, because the jackpot can't get any bigger even if it isn't won on Friday.
And, no, I have no idea why there's any jackpot prize pool cap in the first place. Why not just let it grow indefinitely like the US lotteries do? Why cap at 190m Euros and not at 200m Euros (or 300m or 500m etc.)? Why only allow a maximum of two consecutive capped draws? All questions that I suspect no-one has any sensible answers to :-)
