Comments:
- The average prize was £7.22 and
one in every 19.1 tickets won a prize (=5.25% of players).
- For the first time ever, the Vernons Easy Play score draws included a randomly generated
score draw. In fact, because of the torrential rain throughout Britain,
two of the random generated fixture results were Vernons Easy Play score draws.
- Also note that Bradford City vs. Crystal Palace was abandoned mid-way
through the way due to a waterlogged pitch and hence became the first
abandoned fixture to feature as a Vernons Easy Play score draw.
- Ticket sales dropped for the 10th consecutive week (in other words, they've
fallen every week since Vernons Easy Play began !). The fall actually
accelerated this week, but that could have been due to the appalling weather
conditions (Saturday was a major washout across the country).
- Prizes won in this draw must be claimed within 180 days i.e. by 11.00pm BST on Thursday 22nd April 1999.
