• The average UK prize was £44.80.
• At the time of the draw, tickets cost £2.00 each in the UK (2 Euros in non-UK countries) and one Euro was worth 80.78 pence. This therefore meant that 38.44 pence of every UK ticket sold was added to the non-jackpot UK prize pool to compensate.
• The pan-European total prize pool was 72,120,151 Euros (£58,258,657) and the pan-European ticket sales were 144,240,302 Euros (£116,517,315).
• Although the Belgian winning ticketholder claimed their jackpot prize, the UK one didn't, which set a massive new record for an unclaimed Euro Millions prize of £63,837,543.60. The ticket was bought in the Stevenage and Hitchin area of Hertfordshire, but expired and was added to the Good Causes fund. I suspect it was bought offline and as a Lucky Dip, which are two things I don't do because it increases the chance you'll not claim...
