Comments:

• The draw used ball set SFL1 in the Excalibur 6 machine and the average prize was £56.95.
• The prior history of the main Lotto jackpot ticket included 7 wins totalling £50.
• From Saturday 12th July 2003 onwards, Camelot has completely refused to issue per-draw sales figures for any of their individual games, despite continuously doing so for more than 8 years prior to that date. They blamed the media for only concentrating on the main Lotto game sales (which have been falling steadily for years), which seems to be a poor excuse to me.
• A really obscure "super chance" rule that probably no-one knows about (I didn't initially!) kicked in with this draw. If there are 20 consecutive draws without any 5+life ball winners, the 20th draw in that sequence will award the jackpot to the 5-match winners instead. If there's no 5-match winners in that draw, the super chance rule keeps applying to each future draw until there's at least one 5+life ball or 5-match winner.
• Prizes won in this draw must be claimed within 180 days i.e. by 5.30pm GMT on Tuesday 19th November 2019.
