UK National Lottery Thunderball Playslip Instructions
There has been one Thunderball playslip (or "play slip" as Camelot
has now decided to call it) design to date:
First-generation playslip
Monday 7th June 1999 onwards
- 5 boards, alternating their background between yellow and white.
- Two sections per board - one for the five main balls (1-34) and
the other for the Thunderball (1-14).
- Lucky Dip box (fill for random ticket).
- Void box (fill to cancel a board).
- "Maybe, just maybe" text in blue arrow.
- Defaults to one week, but can select between 2 and 8 weeks.
- Dimensions: 187mm by 82mm.
- Maximum cost: £40.

Stralfors UK, the British branch of
its Swedish parent company.

How To Play The National Lottery Thunderball Game
- Each playslip allows you to play up to 5 BOARDS at £1.00 per board.
- From each board, select 5 numbers from the "SELECT FIVE" panel of
34 and 1 number from the "SELECT ONE" panel of 14 by placing a heavy vertical
mark in each chosen number box. If you wish to use Lucky Dip
on any board, simply mark the "Lucky Dip" box on that board.
DO NOT use red ink.
If you make a mistake, mark the VOID box and use another board. DO NOT ERASE.
- To play the same numbers for more than one consecutive week, mark the
appropriate box under 'No. of WEEKS'. You can play up to 8 weeks in advance
(£1.00 per board per draw). If you do not mark any of the boxes under
the 'No. of WEEKS' section, you will only play for the next draw.
- You will receive a ticket from the Lottery Terminal.
You are responsible for checking the draw numbers, number of selections,
the nmber of draws and draw date(s) on your ticket before you leave the
retailer to ensure they are the ones you selected.
How To Win
- On each draw date, there will be a random drawing of 5 numbers ("the
Main Numbers") from 34 and 1 number ("the Thunderball") from 14.
- If, in one of your 6-number selections on your ticket:
- 1 of your first 5 numbers matches 1 of the Main Numbers
drawn in any order and your Thunderball number matches the Thunderball drawn, you win £5;
- 2 of your first 5 numbers match 2 of the Main Numbers
drawn in any order and your Thunderball number matches the Thunderball drawn, you win £10;
- 3 of your first 5 numbers match 3 of the Main Numbers
drawn in any order , you win £10;
- 3 of your first 5 numbers matches 3 of the Main Numbers
drawn in any order and your Thunderball number matches the Thunderball drawn, you win £20;
- 4 of your first 5 numbers match 4 of the Main Numbers
drawn in any order , you win £100;
- 4 of your first 5 numbers matches 4 of the Main Numbers
drawn in any order and your Thunderball number matches the Thunderball drawn, you win £250;
- 5 of your first 5 numbers match 5 of the Main Numbers
drawn in any order , you win £5,000;
- 5 of your first 5 numbers matches 5 of the Main Numbers
drawn in any order and your Thunderball number matches the Thunderball drawn, you win £250,000;
- NOTE: Depending on the number of winners overall and per prize
category, prizes may on occasion be less than stated above - see Game
Procedures for details.
How To Claim Your Prize
- Prizes must be claimed within 180 days after the relevant draw date on the
ticket.
- Prizes must be claimed in the manner stated on the back of the ticket.
The National Lottery Thunderball Game Rules
- The National Lottery Rules for On-Line Games and the Procedures for
the Thunderball Game, as amended from
time to time, govern this game and the sale of the ticket to you. Prize
winnings and all aspects of the game are subject to these Rules and Procedures.
You may inspect copies at every National Lottery On-Line Game retailer or
obtain copies by telephoning the National Lottery line on 0845 910 0000.
- The ticket issued is the only valid proof of your number selection(s) and is
the only valid receipt for claiming a prize. THE PLAYSLIP IS NOT A VALID
RECEIPT.
- The promoter accepts no responsibility for tickets cancelled in error or
for the entries on the face of the ticket differing from the central computer
entries.
- Tickets shall not be sold to, nor prizes claimed by, persons under the age
of 16.
- The National Lottery Thunderball game is run and promoted by
Camelot Group plc under licenses granted by the Director General of The
National Lottery.
