Comments:
- The draw used ball set T4 in the Excalibur 1 machine
- The average prize was £ 8.49.
One in every 18.0 tickets won a prize (=5.56% of players).
- The prior history of the jackpot ticket included one win of £5.
- The two most popular main numbers
(16 and 22) made their
ninth and eighth such
appearances
respectively.
- At the other end of the main number frequency
table, the number 34 turned up for the
second time, but this still left it one adrift from
the next most rarest numbers (the same situation
occurs in the winning number frequency
table too).
- The numbers 3 and 16 are now joint
top of the winning number frequency table after their
ninth appearance each as one of the six winning balls.
- One ticket
combination has now
won 9 prizes in the 34 Thunderball draws to date.
- The main number pair 16, 22 joined seven
other such at the
top of the appropriate frequency table after its third
appearance to date.
- The main number 18 has now appeared in three
consecutive draws, becoming
only the second main number to do so (22 was the
first).
- The winning numbers 18 and 22 have joined the number
13 in having appeared in three
consecutive
draws.
- This was the first Thunderball draw to have five
even main numbers.
- Unclaimed prizes from this week expired at 11.00pm BST on Thursday 27th July 2000 and have been added to the National Lottery Distribution Fund.
