Wednesday 16th April
Had a bit of a stressful day at work messing around with Puppy Linux for
a project on a small PC that only has 128MB of both RAM and flash storage!
You don't want to know too much about it, but it's getting "bloated" with each
new release...version 3.X is now over 100MB, twice as large as some of the older
releases. I settled on an older Puppy 2.17 after many installs, but was
frazzled when I got home :-(
I decided to wind down when I got home by watching a lot of TV recordings,
but it was only at 11.30pm when I realised I'd lost all track of time and
missed the lottery show, ho hum. Updated the winning numbers before the full
results were on Camelot's site (and they didn't start to dribble out
until nearly midnight!).
