The strange thing about the new design is that they didn't even bother to temporarily put the full Saturday results on the old design and then maybe flip to the new design on, say, Sunday when ticket sales are probably the lowest and easiest to revert if there's a problem. Nope, all we got on Saturday night was a single holding page with the latest winning numbers for the ticket-based games and no prize winners/number of winners info at all!
What's even worse is that Camelot is keeping a one-page site (that not only has no info other than the latest draws, but also doesn't let you buy any tickets online at all) will surely cause them a big loss of online sales (some people won't bother buying a ticket for the next draw because of the 2-day unavailability)? I really don't understand the logic of effectively closing the site for a full 48 hours, especially one that does a lot of e-commerce like the official site does.
Not that you'll care too much, but I'll have to spend Monday night onwards frantically recoding my official site page grabbing, because probably both the URLs and the HTML will both change and break my scripts. The old site design had been around for several years, so it probably warrants a change, but the way Camelot are launching it leaves a lot to be desired!
