Comments:
- The draw used ball set B in the Arthur machine and the average main Lotto prize was £16.64.
One in every 54.3 main Lotto tickets won a prize (=1.84% of players).
- If all 13,983,816 ticket combinations were additionally purchased for the main Lotto game, they would have made a loss of £4,307,371.
- The prior history of the main Lotto jackpot ticket included no wins.
- The jackpot pool prize money of £6.9m that wasn't won in
this lottery will be added to the jackpot prize pool of
Lottery #4.
- The numbers 11 through to 17 have now appeared in the first three weeks,
except for, ironically, "unlucky" number 13 !
- The first consecutive winning number
triple appeared this week.
- For the third consecutive week, the first five numbers were 31 or less and
the sixth number was above 31 - exactly conforming to my
number selection strategy.
- The highest main number was drawn as the 6th ball, which hadn't happened
before.
- No matches at all for me this week. :-(
- £565,082 of unclaimed prizes (3.82% of the total prize pool) from this week expired at 11.00pm BST on Thursday 1st June 1995 and have been added to the National Lottery Distribution Fund.
Next Lottery: #4 (Saturday 10th December 1994) [1 jackpot winner]
