Comments:
- The draw used ball set 6 in the Lancelot machine and the average main Lotto prize was £32.43.
One in every 63.8 main Lotto tickets won a prize (=1.57% of players).
- If all 13,983,816 ticket combinations were additionally purchased for the main Lotto game, they would have made a loss of £7,275,495.
- The prior history of the main Lotto jackpot ticket included 13 wins totalling £188.
- The 99th main number and 115th winning number
appearance of the number 38 has stretched
its leads at the top of the
main and
winning
number frequency tables to 13 and 12 respectively.
- Three ticket
combinations
have now won 31 prizes in the 594 draws to date.
- The main number pair 01, 38 has now
appeared 19 times, giving it the outright lead in
the main number pair frequency
table.
- This draw had the worst
ticket sales
for any Saturday rollover draw to date. In fact,
the six lowest-selling Saturday rollover draws ever
have all been in the past 5 months !
- I'd have liked to have matched as many numbers
as there were goals in tonight's England soccer game, but
I matched absolutely nothing across my first two tickets
and only one and two numbers respectively on my third
and fourth tickets.
- Unclaimed prizes from this week expired at 11.00pm GMT on Thursday 28th February 2002 and have been added to the National Lottery Distribution Fund.
Next Lottery: #595 (Wednesday 5th September 2001) [2 jackpot winners]
