Comments:
- The draw used ball set 6 in the Vyvyan machine and the average main Lotto prize was £22.93.
One in every 51.0 main Lotto tickets won a prize (=1.96% of players).
- If all 13,983,816 ticket combinations were additionally purchased for the main Lotto game, they would have made a loss of £10,306,301.
- The prior history of the main Lotto jackpot ticket included 12 wins totalling £120.
- The 61st main number appearance
of the rarest number 13 still left it two adrift of the rest
at the basement of the main number frequency table. Even worse, it's still
ten behind the rest at the bottom of the winning number frequency
table after its 69th appearance
as one the seven winning numbers.
- I matched two numbers on my first ticket and one number on my second
ticket which, of course, failed to improve my bank balance.
- Unclaimed prizes from this draw expired at 11.00pm BST on Monday 14th October 2002 and have been added to the National Lottery Distribution Fund.
