The draw used ball set 4 in the Arthur machine and the average main Lotto prize was £24.93. One in every 55.4 main Lotto tickets won a prize (=1.80% of players).

If all 13,983,816 ticket combinations were additionally purchased for the main Lotto game, they would have made a loss of £7,208,310.

The prior history of the main Lotto jackpot ticket included one win of £91. This was only the third time that a jackpot ticket had previously won a 4-match prize.
