Comments:

The draw used ball set 3 in the Merlin machine and the average main Lotto prize was £ 3.37. One in every 8.4 main Lotto tickets won a prize (=11.90% of players).

If all 45,057,474 ticket combinations were additionally purchased for the main Lotto game, they would have made a loss of £81,992,417.
