At the time of the draw, tickets cost £1.50 each in the UK (2 Euros in non-UK countries) and one Euro was worth 89.25 pence. This therefore meant that 28.50 pence of every UK ticket sold was subtracted from the non-jackpot UK prize pool to compensate.
