The next table displays the draw order, revised frequencies and the last prior appearance of each of the 6 balls.
Comments:
- The draw used ball set T4 in the Excalibur 1 machine
- The average prize was £ 8.53.
One in every 19.6 tickets won a prize (=5.10% of players).
- The prior history of the jackpot ticket included no wins.
- Five main numbers have now
appeared
four times since the Thunderball lottery began.
- The number 10 is now the only main number not
to have appeared to date, but all numbers have now appeared at
least once as a
winning number.
- The sixth appearance of the winning number 9 has made
it the outright leader of that frequency table.
- This draw had the joint largest
range (32-2=30) of main numbers
in the history of the Thunderball lottery.
- Ironically, every main lottery Super Draw in September hasn't
resulted in an increase in main lottery ticket sales, but has done so for
Thunderball sales, this time pushing them upwards
for a record fourth consecutive week to over £5m for the first time in
10 weeks.
- Unclaimed prizes from this week expired at 11.00pm GMT on Thursday 23rd March 2000 and have been added to the National Lottery Distribution Fund.
