Comments:
- The draw used ball set 4 in the Guinevere machine and the average main Lotto prize was £28.80.
One in every 64.1 main Lotto tickets won a prize (=1.56% of players).
- If all 13,983,816 ticket combinations were additionally purchased for the main Lotto game, they would have made a loss of £8,818,501.
- The prior history of the main Lotto jackpot ticket included one win of £10.
- This was the first time ticket sales had exceeded 60 million during
a non-rollover/Super Draw week.
- Until 11.25am on Sunday morning, ITV teletext's page 123 was displaying the
wrong individual jackpot prize amount (1,375,571, which was £2,000 out !)
until I phoned Camelot for the correct results and told them to ask ITV
teletext to fix their pages. BTW, BBC teletext copied the wrong result from
ITV's page on Saturday evening, but withdrew it a few hours later (maybe
because they noticed that the figures didn't add up, unlike ITV).
- The numbers 06, 16 and 31 also appeared in
Lottery #2.
- Yes, this week's 5+bonus individual prize was bigger than the
previous week's individual jackpot prize !
- No matches for me at all this week, he says unsurprisingly.
- £574,698 of unclaimed prizes (2.09% of the total prize pool) from this week expired at 11.00pm BST on Thursday 20th July 1995 and have been added to the National Lottery Distribution Fund.
