• The draw used ball set 6 in the Guinevere machine and the average main Lotto prize was £24.87. One in every 55.3 main Lotto tickets won a prize (=1.81% of players).
• If all 13,983,816 ticket combinations were additionally purchased for the main Lotto game, they would have made a loss of £8,735,323.
• The prior history of the main Lotto jackpot ticket included 2 wins totalling £20.
• The number 46 has failed to appear for 38 consecutive draws, which is the outright second longest such absence ever.
• Ticket sales were the worst for a Saturday draw since December 1994.
• I matched nothing on either of my tickets, so I've now gone 53 consecutive draws without a win, which equals my all-time record losing sequence.
