- The draw used ball set 10 in the Arthur machine and the average main Lotto prize was £30.56.
One in every 68.0 main Lotto tickets won a prize (=1.47% of players).
- If all 13,983,816 ticket combinations were additionally purchased for the main Lotto game, they would have made a loss of £6,649,281.
- The prior history of the main Lotto jackpot ticket included 2 wins totalling £117.
- The winning numbers 44 and 5, 1st and
2nd in the frequency table,
both appeared yet again today and it
meant that the number 44 has the become the first one
to appear 40 times as one of the seven drawn balls.
