Comments:

• The draw used ball set 3 in the Lancelot machine and the average main Lotto prize was £38.27. One in every 60.8 main Lotto tickets won a prize (=1.64% of players).
• This was the 45th Super Draw and the jackpot pool was a guaranteed £20,000,000.
• If all 13,983,816 ticket combinations were additionally purchased for the main Lotto game, they would have made a loss of £2,948,390.
• The prior history of the main Lotto jackpot ticket included 12 wins totalling £120.
• I matched two numbers on my first ticket, nothing on my second and third tickets, but matched 3 numbers and won £10 for the first time in 23 draws. I'll unusually have to cash it in of course (13 of my 17 £10 wins to date have been via subscription tickets).
• Unclaimed prizes from this week expired at 11.00pm BST on Thursday 12th October 2000 and have been added to the National Lottery Distribution Fund.
