Comments:
- The draw used ball set 7 in the Arthur machine and the average main Lotto prize was £38.33.
One in every 53.6 main Lotto tickets won a prize (=1.86% of players).
- If all 13,983,816 ticket combinations were additionally purchased for the main Lotto game, they would have made a loss of £6,688,812.
- The prior history of the main Lotto jackpot ticket included 5 wins totalling £50.
- The first appearance of the number 21 for
29 draws has handed the longest absentee mantle to the
number 17 which has failed to
appear
for 24 draws.
- This was the twelfth consecutive draw where none of the six main
numbers had appeared in the previous
draw as main numbers, which is an all-time record.
- This was only the second ever Wednesday double rollover draw and
was, as a consequence, only the second time that a Wednesday draw had
sold more tickets than a Saturday draw.
- I matched nothing on my first, second and sixth tickets and only one
number on each of my third, fourth and fifth tickets, so it was a
bad showing for me in this fifth double rollover.
- Unclaimed prizes from this draw expired at 11.00pm GMT on Monday 13th November 2000 and have been added to the National Lottery Distribution Fund.
