Comments:
- The draw used ball set 2 in the Vyvyan machine and the average main Lotto prize was £25.07.
One in every 55.8 main Lotto tickets won a prize (=1.79% of players).
- If all 13,983,816 ticket combinations were additionally purchased for the main Lotto game, they would have made a loss of £8,231,218.
- The prior history of the main Lotto jackpot ticket included 12 wins totalling £120.
- The 77th main number appearance
of the number 25
has the closed the gap to the table leader (the number
38) to six. It is also now five short of the same
leader in the winning number frequency
table after its 93rd
winning number appearance.
- One ticket combination has now won
29 prizes in the 518 lotteries to date.
- Ticket sales dropped for the 10th consecutive
draw, equalling a record set over 2.5 years ago.
Even worse than this, this draw's sales were the worst ever for
a Saturday draw. It's clearly directly tied in with the launch of
the dismal Extra draw (which has also had every single one of its
draws sell less tickets than the previous one).
- I matched absolutely nothing on both of my tickets, so
I didn't get the rub of the green on yet another Saturday then.
- Unclaimed prizes from this week expired at 11.00pm BST on Thursday 7th June 2001 and have been added to the National Lottery Distribution Fund.
