Comments:

• The draw used ball set 7 in the Lancelot machine and the average main Lotto prize was £18.47. One in every 62.7 main Lotto tickets won a prize (=1.59% of players).
• If all 13,983,816 ticket combinations were additionally purchased for the main Lotto game, they would have made a loss of £3,848,297.
• The prior history of the main Lotto jackpot ticket included 13 wins totalling £217.
• The number 38 stretched its lead at the top of both the main and winning number frequency tables to 14 (102nd appearance) and 12 (118th appearance) respectively.
• Two ticket combinations have now won 32 prizes in the 606 lotteries to date.
• I matched absolutely nothing on either of my two tickets in this draw and, to make matters worse, if this was a rollover draw rather than next Wednesday, I'd have won £10 on my third ticket.
