Comments:
- The draw used ball set 6 in the Vyvyan machine and the average main Lotto prize was £24.06.
One in every 53.5 main Lotto tickets won a prize (=1.87% of players).
- If all 13,983,816 ticket combinations were additionally purchased for the main Lotto game, they would have made a loss of £7,842,543.
- The prior history of the main Lotto jackpot ticket included 12 wins totalling £150.
- The 58th appearance of the main number
13 has brought it to within three
of the rest of the pack at the bottom of the main number frequency
table. It also still resides alone
at the basement of the winning number frequency
table on 66 appearances,
though the gap to the rest has been closed to nine.
- The 110th winning number appearance of the number
25 has slightly closed the gap (to 16) to the leader of the
winning number frequency table (the number 38).
- Three ticket combinations have
now won 33 prizes in the 636 lottery draws to date.
- I matched one number on my first ticket and nothing on my second
ticket to continue my barren 2002 results.
- Unclaimed prizes from this week expired at 11.00pm BST on Thursday 25th July 2002 and have been added to the National Lottery Distribution Fund.
