Comments:
- The draw used ball set 2 in the Arthur machine and the average main Lotto prize was £22.58.
One in every 50.2 main Lotto tickets won a prize (=1.99% of players).
- If all 13,983,816 ticket combinations were additionally purchased for the main Lotto game, they would have made a loss of £8,485,562.
- The prior history of the main Lotto jackpot ticket included one win of £10.
- Camelot accidentally left out subscription sales figures from the
results until Sunday afternoon, meaning that all the prize amounts were
slightly lower than they should have been. I now have the corrected figures
on these pages.
- It took 26 draws, but at long last the number 28 has been drawn,
meaning that all 49 numbers have appeared at least once as a main number.
- ITV teletext page 123 was surprisingly good with the results for a
change - they left out the ticket sales figures, but otherwise had a
full set of details (albeit with the incorrect provisional figures).
- The numbers 16, 25 and 26 also appeared in
Lottery #11.
- The number 28 may have broken its 6-month duck, but I haven't with my
ticket - only one match for me this week.
- £712,714 of unclaimed prizes (2.52% of the total prize pool) from this week expired at 11.00pm GMT on Thursday 9th November 1995 and have been added to the National Lottery Distribution Fund.
