• The draw used ball set 7 in the Merlin machine and the average main Lotto prize was £27.77. One in every 61.8 main Lotto tickets won a prize (=1.62% of players).
• If all 13,983,816 ticket combinations were additionally purchased for the main Lotto game, they would have made a loss of £6,008,717.
• The prior history of the main Lotto jackpot ticket included 6 wins totalling £60.
• I matched one number on my first ticket and nothing on my second, so the last Saturday without two draws didn't help me one iota.
