Comments:
- The draw used ball set 5 in the Lancelot machine and the average main Lotto prize was £27.19.
One in every 60.5 main Lotto tickets won a prize (=1.65% of players).
- If all 13,983,816 ticket combinations were additionally purchased for the main Lotto game, they would have made a loss of £7,808,519.
- The prior history of the main Lotto jackpot ticket included 8 wins totalling £80.
- Yellow has become the first ball colour to reach 100 bonus number
appearances.
- The number 25 has joined the number
at the top of the main number frequency
table after its 66th such appearance
(both have a lead of 5 on the chasing pack).
- Even more impressively, the number 25 has stretched its winning
number frequency
table lead to two after its
77th such appearance.
- The 39th appearance of the main number 16 has left the
numbers 19 and 39 two adrift at the basement of
the main number frequency table.
- One ticket combination has now
won 26 prizes since the lottery began.
- I matched nothing on my first ticket and one number on my second ticket
to yet again suggest that I won't win again in this millennium...
- Unclaimed prizes from this week expired at 11.00pm BST on Thursday 1st June 2000 and have been added to the National Lottery Distribution Fund.
