Comments:

• The draw used ball set 2 in the Guinevere machine and the average main Lotto prize was £14.67. One in every 45.2 main Lotto tickets won a prize (=2.21% of players).
• If all 13,983,816 ticket combinations were additionally purchased for the main Lotto game, they would have made a loss of £8,914,067.
• The prior history of the main Lotto jackpot ticket included 6 wins totalling £60.
• The 41st appearance of the winning number 39 has left the rarest winning number, 19, on its own at the basement of that frequency table.
• Ticket sales fell to their lowest level for over 2.5 years, so Camelot must be relieved that there's a rollover draw next Saturday !
• The low ticket sales meant that this draw had the smallest unwon jackpot in the history of the lottery and also the third lowest average prize ever.
• I matched absolutely nothing on both of my tickets, so hopefully Saturday's rollover draw (possibly the last of the Millennium ?) will prove more fruitful.
