Comments:
- The draw used ball set 1 in the Guinevere machine and the average main Lotto prize was £20.96.
One in every 39.7 main Lotto tickets won a prize (=2.52% of players).
- This was the 37th Super Draw and the jackpot pool was a guaranteed £10,000,000.
- If all 13,983,816 ticket combinations were additionally purchased for the main Lotto game, they would have made a loss of £10,477,972.
- The prior history of the main Lotto jackpot ticket included 7 wins totalling £70.
- The sum (59) of the six main numbers
was 14 less than the previous lowest record set over
2.5 years ago. The main number
range (20-3=17) was also the outright smallest
ever.
- The sum (75) of the seven winning
numbers also beat the previous record by 10 that was
set at back in January this year.
The winning number
range (20-3=17) was also the outright smallest
ever.
- When sorted in ascending order, the sixth main number was the lowest
ever (20).
- This draw had the lowest Saturday 5+bonus, 5-match and 4-match
prize pools ever.
- Eight ticket combinations
have now won 23 prizes in the 386 lotteries to date.
- The ticket sales
were the worst for a Saturday Super Draw ever.
- I matched one number on each of my first three tickets and
nothing on my fourth ticket, so it wasn't such a super draw for me.
- Unclaimed prizes from this week expired at 11.00pm GMT on Thursday 2nd March 2000 and have been added to the National Lottery Distribution Fund.
