Comments:
- The draw used ball set T3 in the Excalibur 1 machine
- The average prize was £ 9.06.
One in every 15.8 tickets won a prize (=6.31% of players).
- The prior history of the jackpot ticket included 7 wins totalling £50.
- The 29th appearance of the two most frequent winning numbers
(4 and 9) has given them a lead of three in
the appropriate frequency
table.
- Meanwhile, the number 4 has also moved to the outright top of the
Thunderball frequency
table after its 11th
appearance as a Thunderball.
- The number 27 has now equalled the longest
absentee all-time
record of the number 12 (set back in July 2000) by failing to
appear for 33 consecutive draws as
a main number. It has also set an outright
record for consecutive winning number
draw absences (33 again).
- One ticket combination has now won
18 prizes in the 105 Thunderball lotteries to date.
- This was only the second time that three main numbers in this draw
also appeared in the previous draw. The same
could also be said of the fact that four of the six winning numbers also
appeared in the previous draw.
- Unclaimed prizes from this week expired at 11.00pm GMT on Thursday 6th December 2001 and have been added to the National Lottery Distribution Fund.
