Comments:

• The draw used ball set 7 in the Lancelot machine and the average main Lotto prize was £33.20. One in every 55.7 main Lotto tickets won a prize (=1.79% of players).
• This was the 35th Super Draw and the jackpot pool was a guaranteed £20,000,000.
• If all 13,983,816 ticket combinations were additionally purchased for the main Lotto game, they would have made a loss of £7,830,300.
• The prior history of the main Lotto jackpot ticket included 8 wins totalling £80.
• I matched nothing on my first two tickets and one number on each of my third and fourth tickets, so this nicely "rounded" Super Draw (35th one in 350 draws - exactly one every 10 draws) didn't do me any favours.
• Unclaimed prizes from this week expired at 11.00pm BST on Thursday 28th October 1999 and have been added to the National Lottery Distribution Fund.
