Comments:

• The draw used ball set 3 in the Merlin machine and the average main Lotto prize was £23.20. One in every 44.3 main Lotto tickets won a prize (=2.26% of players).
• If all 13,983,816 ticket combinations were additionally purchased for the main Lotto game, they would have made a loss of £9,918,873.
• The prior history of the main Lotto jackpot ticket included 9 wins totalling £90.
• The number 38 has joined the number 25 at the top of the main number frequency table after its 61st such appearance. Its 69th winning number appearance also closed the gap to the number 25 in the winning number frequency table to just three.
