Comments:

• The draw used ball set 1 in the Merlin machine and the average main Lotto prize was £25.57. One in every 56.9 main Lotto tickets won a prize (=1.76% of players).
• If all 13,983,816 ticket combinations were additionally purchased for the main Lotto game, they would have made a loss of £8,832,869.
• The prior history of the main Lotto jackpot ticket included 11 wins totalling £203.
• The 50th appearance of the main number 13 has left the number 20 two adrift at the basement of the main number frequency table. It is also only one behind the number 39 at the bottom of the winning number frequency table after its 57th appearance as one of the seven winning balls.
• I matched one number on my first ticket and two numbers on my second ticket, which of course kept my millennium-straddling losing streak going.
