Comments:

• The draw used ball set 14 in the Lancelot machine and the average main Lotto prize was £24.20. One in every 53.9 main Lotto tickets won a prize (=1.86% of players).
• If all 13,983,816 ticket combinations were additionally purchased for the main Lotto game, they would have made a loss of £9,523,136.
• The prior history of the main Lotto jackpot ticket included 10 wins totalling £100.
• The two rarest main numbers (the numbers 20 and 13) made their 55th and 56th appearances respectively. The number 13 also closed to the gap to the rest of the pack to five after its 63rd winning number showing.
• Thanks to the appearance of the winning number pair 13, 20, all such pairs have now appeared at least three times since the lottery began.
• I matched one number on each of my two tickets today, mirroring the number of goals scored by Liverpool and Everton soccer teams in their respective defeats today.
