Comments:

• The draw used ball set 11 in the Merlin machine and the average main Lotto prize was £20.80. One in every 46.3 main Lotto tickets won a prize (=2.16% of players).
• If all 13,983,816 ticket combinations were additionally purchased for the main Lotto game, they would have made a loss of £10,591,478.
• The prior history of the main Lotto jackpot ticket included 6 wins totalling £60.
• Remarkably, the three rarest main numbers, 13, 20 and 21, all appeared in this draw, marking their 62nd, 65th and 69th appearances respectively.
• The number 13 also managed to close the gap to 9 on the number 19 at the basement of the winning number frequency table after its 70th appearance as one of the seven drawn numbers.
• I matched one number on my first and nothing on my second ticket, so switching to my new Linux box (P4 2.0GHz) at home for all things lottery-related didn't help me win back any of the £700 I paid for the PC...
