Comments:
- The draw used ball set 11 in the Guinevere machine and the average main Lotto prize was £22.72.
One in every 50.5 main Lotto tickets won a prize (=1.98% of players).
- If all 13,983,816 ticket combinations were additionally purchased for the main Lotto game, they would have made a loss of £10,285,070.
- The prior history of the main Lotto jackpot ticket included 8 wins totalling £124.
- The number 44 has closed the gap to the main number
frequency table leader (the
number 38) to eight after its 101st such appearance.
- At the other end of the same table, the number
13 is now only three behind the rest of the pack
after appearing as a main number for the 63rd time. It also managed to
close the gap to the rest to nine in the winning number frequency
table thanks to its 73rd
appearance as one of the seven drawn balls.
- The 46,702,979 tickets bought in this draw were also automatically
eligible for a Golden Jubilee additional draw
at no extra charge.
- I matched two numbers on my first ticket and nothing on my second,
plus I failed to win on the Golden Jubilee draw either.
- Unclaimed prizes from this week expired at 11.00pm GMT on Thursday 28th November 2002 and have been added to the National Lottery Distribution Fund.
