• The draw used ball set 6 in the Lancelot machine and the average main Lotto prize was £32.16. One in every 61.1 main Lotto tickets won a prize (=1.64% of players).
• If all 13,983,816 ticket combinations were additionally purchased for the main Lotto game, they would have made a loss of £6,315,093.
• The prior history of the main Lotto jackpot ticket included 10 wins totalling £100.
• The 67th appearance of the main number 25 has made it the outright leader of the main number frequency table and also maintained its lead of three in the winning number frequency table after its 79th such appearance.

  Clearly the temptation to round up the 98.5333p has been too much, but it's definitely against the standard formula published in Camelot's rule book - the final prize is always rounded down to the nearest pound, regardless of value of the remaining pence.

• I matched nothing at all on my first three tickets and two numbers on my fourth ticket, so the first ever UK lottery draw on a Friday failed to bear any fruit for me.
• Unclaimed prizes from this draw expired at 11.00pm BST on Wednesday 21st June 2000 and have been added to the National Lottery Distribution Fund.
